Online Safety Information

At High View Primary School we see the internet and other digital technologies as powerful tools, which open up new opportunities. Electronic communication helps teachers and pupils learn from each other. These technologies can stimulate discussion, promote creativity and stimulate awareness of context to promote effective learning.

We work with staff, pupils and parents/carers to value the use of new technologies in enhancing learning, encourage responsible use of ICT throughout the curriculum and follow agreed policies to minimise potential e-safety risk.

We have developed age appropriate Online Safety planning for all pupils from Reception to Year 6 that promotes their safety teaches the pupils to use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly; recognise acceptable and unacceptable behaviour and identify a range of ways to report concerns or seek help about content and contact.
