Ofsted recognised the following as some of the strengths of the school:
- Pupils' attainment at the end of Key Stages 1 and 2 is above average in reading, writing and mathematics and they are well prepared for the next stage of their education.
- Governors are skilled and knowledgeable. They provide effective support and challenge to Senior Leaders to drive improvements.
- Pupils' behaviour is typically good and they have positive attitudes to their learning. They are kind, courteous and respectful. They feel safe and well looked after.
- Staff are motivated and work hard to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
- The curriculum is exciting and immerses pupils in their learning, providing them with memorable experiences.
- The teaching in the early years is good and children make good progress from their different starting points. They are well prepared for Year 1.
- The school has a strong partnership with parents.
