School Lunches                                                   

We are pleased to announce that High View Primary have awarded the school catering contract to Olive Dining.

The meals meet the School Food Standards and provide a hot balanced meal every day.

The Caterer and her staff freshly prepare and cook the meals in our school kitchen.

The meal includes a choice of two main meals (one of which is suitable for a vegetarian diet) or a jacket potato with filling, a choice of two vegetables, a salad bar, freshly baked bread, a pudding of the day or a choice of fresh fruit, organic yogurt or cheese and biscuits, and drinking water.  Year 5 & 6 will also have the option to select a sandwich.

Please see attachments below for Autumn term menu and allergens information.  If your child has an allergy or intolerance to any food please inform the school and Olive Dining prior to school lunches being taken.

Paying for School Lunches

Reception/ Years 1 & 2
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are automatically provided with a free school dinner, known as Universal Infant Free School Meals. Alternatively you may provide your child with a packed lunch.

Years 3, 4 5 & 6
For the 2023-2024 academic year all primary age children in years 3-6 will be eligible for a free school meal thanks to the Mayor of London providing the funding as an emergency cost of living support measure.

Alternatively you may provide your child with a packed lunch.

Change of Lunch Arrangements

Children are expected to remain on their chosen lunch pattern for a whole half term.  If your child does wish to switch for the following half term please complete the google form that will be emailed out to parents towards the end of each half term.

Free School Meals

Your child may also be eligible for a free school meal under certain criteria.  There are 2 ways to register either by phoning 020 8770 6953 or online at

We would ask that all parents still register their child for free school meals if applicable, as the school receives vital funding known as Pupil Premium, which is used to raise the attainment of children.
