Reading passports are issued to all pupils in KS2 to encourage children to read for enjoyment, as well as extend their knowledge and vocabulary linked to topics. The books are listed in the order that the topics will be taught, with each topic lasting for one half term. It would be beneficial if the children read some of the recommended texts prior to each topic, and continue during the topic.
