Pupil Voice Group - Job Descriptions
|
| School Council |
- To meet every three weeks to discuss ideas for improving the school and making it a better place for everyone
- To plan and help run one project each term, such as events, fundraising, or school improvement activities
- To listen to classmates' suggestions and share them during meetings to make sure everyone's voice is heard
- To work as a team to make positive changes and represent the views of the whole school community

| Digital Leaders |
- To improve technology and confidence in using technology in our school
- To be responsible for ensuring all chromebooks are plugged in at the end of the day
- To ensure that the chromebooks work and area labelled

| Eco Squad |
|
- To support the school in continuously improving our environment
- To improve our green learning areas for children, staff and wildlife
- To attend meetings with Miss Bernard to discuss environmental issues
- To carry out various roles in the school including collecting the recycling and completing litter picking to keep our school grounds tidy
- To encourage all members of the High View community to be good at recycling, saving energy, conserving resources and caring for the environment
- To work on the School Travel Plan

| Playground Ambassadors |
- To set up activities for children to play
- To encourage children to join in with activities
- To look out for children feeling lonely
- To demonstrate how to use equipment safely

| Reading Champions |
- To maintain the book corner expectations (under supervision of the class teacher): Ensure the reading area remains tidy, organised and inviting
- To choose the Reading Challenge of the Week
- To support student participation in Book Talk Folders: Make sure all children have the oppotunity to contribute their thoughts and reflections to the Book Talk review folder. Prompt quieter students or thosewho may need support to share their ideas, and assist with scribing if needed
- To ensure all Author of the Term books are rotated with the parallel class each half term (with class teacher guidance)
- To return and collect Author of the term packs to Miss Chowdhury
