Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
At High View, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, achieve their potential, and feel a strong sense of belonging. Children develop at different rates, and some may need additional support to help them access learning, develop key skills, or meet their individual needs.
We work closely with families to identify and support children who may have additional needs as early as possible. Through careful observation, assessment, and partnership with parents and carers, we ensure that appropriate support is put in place to help every child succeed and make progress from their individual starting points.
If you have concerns about your child's development, communication, learning, behaviour, physical development, or emotional wellbeing, we encourage you to speak with a member of the EYFS team. Early support can make a significant difference and allows us to work together to identify the most appropriate next steps.
The resources below include information about the Early Years Support Pathway, which explains how children can access additional support when needed. We have also included links to local authority services, advice, and guidance for parents and carers, helping families access a range of support and information both in school and within the wider community.
