Mrs Elizabeth Brailsford
Welcome to High View
I have worked at High View since September 2005, first as a Deputy and then in March 2008 I was appointed at Headteacher. It is a very special school that I feel privileged to be Head Teacher here.
My teaching journey has taken me to 4 continents of the world and spanned over 25 years. However my passion and beliefs remain the same as when I first went into teaching and that is; firstly -"Happy children learn" and secondly - "Every child deserves an education that inspires them to become life long learners." These two principles have, I hope, guided me throughout to strive for the best for all the children that have been in schools where I have either taught or led.
Since becoming Head Teacher I would also add that not only does, "Every child matter" but "Every person" too - from every member of staff to every parent, I endeavour to be available and approachable to all.
As much as I enjoy my hours at school, I do also have a full life out of school with three wonderful teenagers (aged 17, 15 and 14) and a highly supportive husband. In my spare time I enjoy walking our 2 dogs, watching the Grand Prix, gardening and BBQ's.
