Mrs Jill Taylor
As I show visitors around High View
Primary School they often comment on its warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere. They
see that the children are happy and confident in their learning and
that everyone treats each other with respect. Visitors comment on
the calm and industrious atmosphere in the school and they can see
that we aim to give every child the best opportunity to learn and
make good progress.
When I first came to the school several years ago I also formed the
same impression and now, as Deputy Head Teacher, it is my aim to
make sure that the school continues to grow and develop in the same
special way. We have a wonderful school community at High View based
on trust, good communication, an understanding of our strengths and
the way forward.
In this ever changing world I am always mindful
of the fresh challenges and opportunities that our children, parents
and teachers meet in their daily lives. I firmly believe that the
education we give our children at High View, the attitude towards
learning we develop in them and the social and emotional skills we
help them develop, mean that our children can rise to these
challenges and be successful young citizens. "Learning to succeed in
life" is our school motto and a view of education that I have always
valued and tried to live by.
